The complete Symbian platform is now available for download and use under open-source licenses. Symbian Foundation has opened up its source code, and it is available to anyone who pleases to do have access to it.
Whoever you are, you can look at the source and see how it works: You can experiment with it, you can try your own ideas and, most significantly, you can be part of the Symbian community.
In this video, Chris Davidson from the Symbian Foundation welcomes you to the Symbian community and highlights some of the key features of the Symbian platform now open to everyone.
If you’re looking for contribution opportunities or discussion of potential features, please join the community at Symbian Ideas.
