Finally!!! After approx 3 days beingPC is UP again, when I started beingPC 4 months back from now, I choose a cheap hosting service with limited bandwidth and limited web space and that’s what I suffered 3 days back.
From the day I started beingPC it is going UP and achieving milestones, till now I have written 252 Posts in 32 categories that means 2 posts per day on average. Check out what exactly happened -

I received an alert on mobile from internetseer that my blog beingPC is down because of Error 500. As soon as I confirmed this I contacted my webhost regarding this error and he acknowledged me of my limited bandwidth, due to a lot of visitors daily visiting beingPC daily, my Bandwidth get sucked vigorously. When I asked what should I do next he told me to buy more bandwidth.

I contacted all my friends and asked for their opinion and every one advised me to go for a new webhost instead. So I finally decided to move on to new webhost. And my obvious choice was Hostgator as I have reviewed their services previously in my blog, I know that they are the best.
Day 2 Tue Mar 30 6:56:00
I received my Account information details via an email from hostgator and then I asked them for a favor and to my surprise that favor turns out to be a free service. I asked them to help me transfer my database and my complete blog from my previous host to hostgator, and within 1 hour the transfer process initiated with live updates to my email as they proceed.
Day 3 Wed 31 March 11:48:07
I received an email from Hostgator transfer team that my blog is completely transferred to Hostgator and now I can redirect the nameserver to hostgator which were previously pointed to my previous host. I updated my nameserver to hostgator’s nameserver in my GoDaddy account and on 31 March 2010 20:03PM I reciewved a mail from GoDaddy that my nameservers were updated.
And here I am writing this post to notify you that beingPC is finally UP and hopefully will have no downtime in future.
PS: I will resume writing posts from tomorrow.

This problem is faced by many people initially… In dreamhost on request they’ll switch server, and some servers are unlimited bandwidth… A site like being pc surely needs the best hosting from hostgator…
