Fixing Blue Screen Crash in Win 7

In this article we will provide you with the detailed guidelines that will help you rectify the common issue of blue screen crash. This problem is also known as Blue Screen of Death (BSOD), which has been recently found in windows 7.

Solution # 1:

  • Go to the vendor website of your display driver.
  • Download the updated display driver manually and install it in your computer.
  • Restart your computer.

Solution # 2:

Incase above solution does not work for you then you have to turn off the hardware acceleration of your computer. Do keep in mind that many display drivers’ does not have the functionality of disabling hardware acceleration. You have to perform following steps.

  • Click on start button of your taskbar
  • Go to Control Panel
  • Double Click on Appearance and Personalization
  • Select Personalization
  • Click on Display Settings
  • Select Advance Settings
  • Click on Troubleshoot Tab
  • Click on Change Settings [Note: Change Setting will be disabled if your display driver do not provide the functionality of disabling hardware acceleration]
  • Select the Hardware Accelerator Slider
  • Move the slider to its right most position with just one step to go.
  • Now click on OK button
  • Restart your computer

Solution # 3:

If none of above solutions works for you; you should update your windows. The hot fix for BSOD problem has been added to the routine updates of window 7.
