Sometimes Windows 7 users face a problem of fonts not available after reboot. In this article we will address to this problem. First perform following steps to install the fonts in your computer system.
Steps to Install:
- Right click on the font file.
- Click on properties.
- On the right bottom, if there is a “unblock” button, click on it to unblock the font.
- Now again right click on the font file.
- Click on the “install” to install the font in your computer system.
- Open your system font folder located at “C:\Windows\Font”.
- Drag the font file on it and it will be installed automatically.
- After successfully installation, copy your font files and past them in your system font folder.
- The fonts will be available in all the applications in your computer.
If fonts are still disappearing after reboot you can take following steps to resolve this problem.
- Go to the Type 1 font vendor website to make sure that it is compatible with window 7.
- You can also try to use the Window XP Mode, if you are running Window 7 Professional Enterprise or Ultimate Edition.
