If you are using windows 7 and your Bluetooth connect to devices other than Apple iPod then you need not to worry. Following can be the causes of this issue:
Cause 1: You are using third party software or drivers for Bluetooth that has this issue.
Solution: Change your third party software or driver and install Microsoft recommended drivers only.
Cause 2: Your iPod has some configuration issue.
Solution1: Troubleshoot.

- Enable Bluetooth on iPod touch
- Open control panel in windows 7 and go to Hardware and Sound>Devices and Printers and click on ‘Add Device’.
- Select ‘iPod touch’ in the popup window.
- Accept to allow connections on both iPod and Windows 7
- New device will be installed on Windows 7. If you get an error of incomplete installation due to drivers not found then
- Open control panel and go to Hardware and Sound>Devices and Printers
- Go to properties of newly added device (coming with device name + exclamation mark).
- Go to HARDWARE tab > NEWLY ADDED DEVICE > PROPERTIES
- Go to GENERAL tab in pop up and go to CHANGE CONFIGURATION > DRIVER > UPDATE DRIVER
- Select CHOOSE FROM A LIST and select BLUETOOTH DEVICE in the main menu and AVDT DRIVER in the sub-menu
- Accept the warning and connect your device to PC
