Being a useful feature, Windows 7 provides the tab preview in Google Chrome by default. However, sometimes user wants privacy and do not want to show which websites he/she has opened. It is very easy to disable tab preview in Google Chrome for Windows 7.
Steps:
- Go to chrome.exe. By default Google Chrome executable are installed in C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application\.
- Now right click on chrome.exe.
- Click on Compatibility tab.
- Under Compatibility Mode panel, you will find the check box “Run this program in compatibility mode for:”. Select this check box.
- Select “Windows Vista (Service Pack 2)” from the drop down menu.
- Press OK.
