Many users want to see different information regarding their computer system e.g. Computer Shutdown and Startup time etc. In this article we will cover this area and show you how to get this particular information from your computer system. For this, we will use a system utility “Event Viewer”. This utility keeps record of every event that happens in the computer system but we will use it only to get the System Shutdown and Startup information.

Steps:

• Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > Run.
• Type “eventvwr.msc” and press Enter.
• Now click on the “System” in left pane of “Event Viewer” window.
• Note the “System Shutdown” and “System Startup” event codes.
• Look up the codes under the “Event” column and check the relevant information.
