- Review your updates history by visiting the website http://update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us . The most recent update will be marked by the green icon if installed.
- The second method is to examine the log file, which can be viewed by typing the path of the file in Run Window.
Fix the problem:
If the updates are installed, following methods can be used to fix the problem:
