Windows XP, developed by Microsoft is one of the popular operating system. It has got a very nice feature in which it shows the count of unread mail on the login screen. This helps the users to keep check on their unread mails. This also helps them to check the degree of spam.

However with the advent of Windows 7, the users are rapidly switching from Windows XP to Windows 7. But they are unable to avail the feature of unread mail count in Windows 7 and are constantly looking for it.

It is noteworthy for the users of Windows 7, that Windows 7 does not support unread mail count on login screen. This feature is only available in Windows XP. For this feature, either they have to switch back to Windows XP or wait for the next version of Windows with this feature.
