Method#1:
- Go to Start > Control Panel
- Double click on “Sounds”
- Go to the “Sound” tab
- Uncheck the “Play Windows Startup Sound”
- Press OK
Method#2:
- If you are not using Window 7 Home Premium then press Window + R
- Write “gpedit.msc” in the RUN dialogue and press Enter
- Now open “Computer Configuration”
- Click on “Administrative Template”
- Open “System” and click on “Logon”
- Disable “Turn off Window Startup Sound” and press OK
Method#3:
- Press Windows + R
- Write “regedit” in RUN dialogue and press enter
- Go to the following location “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\LogonUI\BootAnimation\”
- Edit the value of “DisableStartupSound ” and change it from “0” to “1” and press OK
