How to uninstall Windows 7 SP1 Beta?

Windows 7 is the latest operating system offered by Microsoft. As its SP1 version is beta labeled, it has various issues in it. People, who are having problems with their SP1 version, usually want to remove it. Here is a simple procedure that can be used to uninstall Win 7 SP1.

The process to uninstall SP1 can be carried out through two ways:

Using control panel:

  • Go to Control Panel > Programs > Installed Updates
  • In the section of Installed Updates, trace the service pack for Microsoft windows (KB976932).
  • Select it, click on the Uninstall button and click Yes.

Using command prompt:

  • Go to Start > Search.
  • Type cmd in the search box.
  • Click Command Prompt from the searched results.
  • Run it as Administrator by right clicking the Command Prompt.
  • Type following code in the Command Prompt window.
wusa.exe /uninstall /kb:976932
  • Hit Enter.
