How to easily toggle between Minimized Windows in Win 7?

When browsing, computer users have multiple windows minimized on the Taskbar. But switching between windows again and again, especially if they are combined in a group or hidden one after the other is really irritating. However, this can be avoided by the following tips.

  • Windows 7 normally group the folders. To disable this option, Right click the Taskbar and click on properties. A window “Taskbar and Start Menu Properties” will appear. Locate “Taskbar Buttons” in the Taskbar tab. click it to reveal the drop down menu. From this select the option of “Never Combine”
  • However, if the windows are combined, still there is an effective way to switch between them. Press the Ctrl key and click on the icon of group when multiple windows are open. In this way, the folder pops up one after the other with each mouse click.
  • The beta version of Windows is still in use by some people. It groups the windows only when the Taskbar is full and short of space. You can opt to group them by opening the “Taskbar and Start Menu Properties” and selecting the option of “Always Group, Hide Captions”.
