With the advent of Laptops and iPads, computers are getting smaller and smaller day by day. Today, we find many computers that are compact, convenient and handy but they too are accompanied with a drawback of temperature. In order to keep the laptop or other smaller computer functioning smoothly we have to keep it at optimal temperature. Too much heat can cause the hardware failure.
Luckily, there exists a free utility program with which we can keep the tabs on hardware temperature. This free utility is HWMonitor and is developed by CPUID software.
This free utility program is basically intended to monitor the health of PC by analyzing pc voltage, fan speed and temperature. It displays the current statuses of all the three parameters. It can easily deal with the common chips like ITE IT87 series. It is also capable of reading temperature of hard drive and video card GPU.
It is very convenient utility that does not need to be installed. It can be launched by clicking HWMonitor.exe directly from USB stick. It is quite safe as it does not use the hard drive or Registry Editor to create files or folders.
