Adding Visual Effects to images in MS Word 2010

Microsoft has recently exposed the latest version of its Microsoft office suite i.e. office 2010. This particular version of Microsoft is equipped with a lot of new amazing features which were not offered before.

Visual effects in Office 2010:

Although Office 2007 also has a lot of visual effects, but the office 2010 offer more customized and advance options. Now people can do graphical tasks in Microsoft word for which previously they had to rely on graphical software. Not only it allows so many options but also the process is very simple, which has made treating images as easy as pie.

It only needs to insert the image in the document. To give any visual effect, click on the image. From the options displayed on format ribbon, you can choose shadows, borders, highlights and a lot of other options to make your images visually attractive.

Options like borders, glow effects, shadows, reflection, and 3D rotations, etc can be found to the right of the preset options. The overall look of image can also be enhanced by adjusting its brightness and contrast. This can be done from the adjustment tab present at the left of the format ribbon. At the bottom of effects menu, you will find “options”, which contains lot more other effects to explore.
