How to Add ‘My Dropbox’ to the Start Menu in Windows?

Dropbox is a very convenient utility. It can be even more convenient if users could access it from the start menu. This is pretty possible and needs to follow the given steps.

  • Right-click the Start Menu and click on Properties.
  • Press the tab of Start Menu and tap the button of Customize.
  • In the scroll menu of Customize window, find the recorded TV. Select the Display as a Link from the three options given for Recorded TV.
  • Press OK button to save and close the window.
  • Now click on the Start Menu. You will see the option of Recorded TV here. Right-click the Recorded TV option and click on Properties.
  • In the Properties window, press the general tab and give the name to the dropbox in the given field.
  • Click the Library tab in the same window of Properties. Select the option of Public Recoded TV (C:users\) and hit the button of Remove to delete it.
  • Now click Include a Folder. It will display a dialogue box. Select your dropbox and tap the button of Include a Folder.
  • This will include my dropbox to the library locations. Now from the drop down menu of Optimize This Library For, click General Items and press OK.
  • Now restart the computer and it’s done!
