Gadgets are small applications with which users can quickly accomplish complex tasks without installing complex applications. Gadgets for Windows 7 are more or less like the gadgets for Windows vista. However in Windows 7, gadgets do not occupy much space and are more attractive. Microsoft has simplified to the large extent the process of adding Gadgets to the Windows 7. To add gadgets to the Windows 7, do as described in the following steps.
- On desktop screen, right-click anywhere and click the Option of Gadgets.
- This will open the window containing Gadgets. Select your favorite Gadget and right-click on it to select the option of Add.
- Your favorite gadget will be visible on the top right of the desktop screen.
Similarly, removing a gadget is also very simple. To remove any old or unwanted gadget:
- Right-click the gadget and click on the option of Close and it will get removed.
