User account control (UAC) is a very useful security feature in Windows Vista. It protects the computer against malware. Some of the users get irritated of its pop up and they really wish to disable it. By following the given instruction, it is fairly easy to disable the user account control (UAC) for administrator’s account.
Instructions:
- Tap the Start Menu. In the search box, write secpol.msc.
- A pop up of User Account Control will appear. Press the button of Continue.
- After the window of Local Security Policy is opened, go to Local Policies > Security Options.
- Select “User Account Control: Behavior of the elevation prompt for administrators in Admin Approval Mode” from the right panel of the window. Right-click it and select Properties.
- A new window will appear. From the drop down menu, select the option of Elevate without Prompting. Press the OK button.
From now onwards, this User Account Control pop-up will never irritate you.
