Windows XP and vista users are continuously encountering the problem of windows stuck or lost because of off-screen. Often, while fixing it, users happen to lose their data. The below described trick consisting of two steps is really simple and can fix this problem while securing the data.
- On the taskbar, right click the Window and select the option of move to stir the window which is being positioned off.
- Move the mouse to place the window, as lost window will follow the movement of mouse. Therefore click anywhere you want the window to be placed.
So this is how you can bring the off-screen window back to the desktop. This problem of stuck window does not happen in Windows 7. Even if it is then 7 snap aero feature of Windows 7 can easily fix it.

Completely useless.
THERE IS NO MENU FOR MOVE -> this MS cr*p is the “ONLY” solution for Bill’s ignorant OS and only works on MS programs
A more useful to question ask/answer is: What has to be done for every other non-microsoft program in the world to get any misplaced application window to show up on the screen???
NONE OF THESE PROGRAMS HAVE A MOVE MENU. IF YOU HAVE NO MOVE WINDOW, IS THERE ANY SOLUTION????
Is that too much ask of an OS that has been on ‘TOP????” for 10+ years??? be capable of displaying a window on the only monitor connected to the PC????
There is a reason that Apple stock price is over $300 Dollars Stock price and Microsoft stock is worth less than $20… LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL all the way to the bank…
Microsoft, especially the non-existing end user support, need to re-learn how to operate a company that SUPPORTS their customers instead of abusing them.
