People Pane is a very useful social feature introduced in outlook 2010 by Microsoft. The feature is still in beta stage and occupies a lot of area if its preview pane is opened. People Pane tracks social activities from Twitter, RSS feeds and other information from the specified contact. It may get more improved and useful after its beta version. Till the time, it is good to remove it, as the outlook window looks too congested with enabled preview pane.
Refer to the given procedure to remove the people pane from Microsoft outlook 2010.
- Open 2010 version of Microsoft outlook.
- Select the view tab and press the button of people pane.
- It will display three options. Click on “off” to turn off the people pane.
This will remove the people pane. If any time you need it back, follow the similar procedure. Just select the option of “Normal” to turn on the people pane
