Microsoft outlook is the best ever email management tool. It is very rare to have any email error in outlook. However sometimes there comes attachment issue. What happens is when the user tries to open the email attachment, there is an error which says “Can’t create file:—- Right-click the folder you want to create the file in, and then click Properties on the shortcut menu to check your permissions for the folder.” The problem may occur due to multiple attachments with the same name in the OLK folder.
This problem can easily be fixed by following the given procedure.
- Open the Outlook and navigate to find the outlook temporary OLK folder.
- In the folder, delete all the cache files that match with the name of the attachment you are trying to open.
- Restart the outlook and you will now be able to open the attachment.
