Windows 7 and Windows Vista have many advantages over Windows XP. However after upgrading to Windows 7 or Vista from windows XP, you may miss the convenience in accessing the network connections or adapter setting which is bit difficult in Windows Vista and Windows 7. However, here is a trick following which you can also access these network settings easily in Windows 7 and Windows Vista.
The usual method of accessing network connection in Windows 7 is first Press the Start menu, then Write ncpa.cpl in the search field and tap the Enter key.
By following the given process for once, you will be able to access network connections with a single click.
Steps:
Here we will create a shortcut to access network connection.
- Right-click on desktop. Select New and then click Shortcut.
- In the window of Create Shortcut, paste c:windowssystem32ncpa.cpl in the location field. Press the Next button.
- Give the title for the shortcut.
- Tap the Finish button.
- Drag and drop this shortcut to the start menu to pin it.
