Of all the email management tools, Microsoft outlook is considered best. The 2010 version of outlook is packed with more enhanced features. Outlook allows the users to preview the attachments they received from mails. This is a convenient option, but for some users it poses security and privacy concerns. The solution is turn off the attachment preview which can be accomplished by following the simple steps.
- Launch Outlook 2010.
- Go to File > Options.
- In the window of Outlook Options, go to Trust Centre > Trust Centre Settings.
- In the window of Trust Centre, select Attachment Handling.
- In the right panel of window, check the option of Turn off Attachment Preview.
Now outlook will not allow you to preview any received attachment. If you want to disable any particular attachment, then click Attachment and Document Previewer in the window of Trust Centre.
