In Windows 7, the ability of remote desktop is disabled by default. Whenever you need to use remote desktop, you first need to enable it. It is very simple to enable the remote desktop. The process is almost same both for Windows Vista and Windows 7.
- Tap the windows Start menu. Right click the computer and select Properties.
- Click on the option of Remote Settings.
- In the window of System Properties, select the option of “Allow Connections from Computers running any Version of Remote Desktop”. This option will enable you to connect even with the old versions of remote desktop.
- By default, only administrators can access the remote desktop in windows 7. To allow the non-administrators, tap the Select Users button.
It’s done. Enjoy the remote desktop!
