Microsoft Math is an amazing stand alone application that is particularly designed for students to help them get through the complex mathematics problems. It is also too good for solving simple problems. Unfortunately, this application is not free. But its price is far less than its valuable features. It has a very nominal price of $20. However, a 30-day free trial version is also available.
The application is very simple to use. Enter any equation in the worksheet mode and you will get the solution. There is a calculator on the left side that allows you to enter type numbers and equations. If you do not feel comfortable writing on keyboard, you can write the equations in drawing mode. After the equation is solved, you can also opt to graph it out. Graphing mode has various options. Using it you can draw functions, insert data sets, plot inequalities and much more. It also supports 3-D graphing.
One of its noteworthy features is Triangle Solver tool. It allows you to enter know parameters of the triangle and the rest are solved automatically.
