In 2009, Microsoft has released the anti-virus code “Morro”. Like all the other products of Microsoft, this code is an excellent security tool that can provide complete protection against online threats. It is the ideal security solution for the less powerful computers and PCs having low bandwidth. The best part of this code is it is free ware. Morro is excellent in its performance and is capable of the following functions.
- IPSEC management and software firewall
- Group policy for all security components of operating system
- Windows defender (anti-spyware)
- Anti-virus/anti-malware
- Automatic security updates for Microsoft operating system and software
According to Microsoft, the software is available free for download for Windows 7, Windows XP and Windows Vista. However, Microsoft did not mention anything about corporations. Thus, with the advent of Morro, security becomes free for the Microsoft consumers.
