Desktop shortcuts bring too much convenience in accessing different applications and programs. The same type of convenience is also associated with the quick launch bar. The function of shortcuts is further enhanced by the speed launch, which is the new Microsoft office lab product. Its best part is available free for download for Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7.
Speed launch works in a very simple way. Simply download and install it. A bulls eye like icon will appear on the lower right of desktop. To launch the shortcut, drag and drop existing shortcut to the bulls eye. You can even drag and drop a document and URL. Dragging the document or whatever will bring up the dialog box of add shortcut. Given the title for the shortcut and tap the add button. you can also add multiple targets for the single shortcut.
After the shortcut is created, open speed launch by pressing windows + c key. Provide the name of the shortcut and press the launch button. It will launch the specified shortcut.
