Microsoft Outlook 2010 is equipped with many new features that were not in the previous versions. One such useful feature is Quick Steps. If you have to perform the same action for individual items, it is advisable to create Quick Steps. Here, you will learn how to create a quick step.
- Launch Outlook 2010.
- On home ribbon, tap Create New or New Quick Step. Select the template from the displayed list.
- Another option can be, tap the Manage Quick Steps and tap New button.
- The Edit Quick Steps window will show up.
- Here you can rename the quick step.
- Now, from the drop-down menu, select the first action.
- To add more actions, tap the Add button.
- After adding the actions, select the Icon.
- Next, tap the Tooltip Text Box and add a little description.
- You can also choose the shortcut key from the drop-down menu.
- Tap the Finish button to save the quick step.
