If you ever need to check the License Status and Activation Type of office 2010, you must refer to the following guide. The guide is very simple and requires just few steps.
- Go to Start menu. In the search box, type cmd. from the search results. Right-Click the cmd.exe and click on Run as Administrator to open the command prompt with administrative rights.
- Browse the folder in which the office 2010 is installed in the computer. To find the folder, type the following command in command prompt window and press Enter.
cd \Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14
- Now type the following command and press Enter.
cscript ospp.vbs /dstatus
- Wait for few seconds. The information about Activation Type and License Status will be displayed in the window.
