Windows Live Skydrive is a File hosting service of Windows Live that allows users to upload files to Cloud storage of 25 GB. You can easily access to this drive by using freeware ‘Gladinet’. Here is the process:
Steps:
- Download ‘Gladinet’ & install it in PC.
- License box will appear when Installation finishes.
- Choose ‘I just… Free starter edition’ option and click ‘Next’.
- Put your email-id in ‘Register’ box and click ‘Next’.
- Choose ‘Windows SkyDrive’ from ‘Add storage to virtual drive’. Click ‘Next’.
- ‘General Setting’ prompt window will appear. Edit ‘Windows SkyDrive’ & name it gently.
- Click ‘Change’ in ‘Profile Encryption’ row to change security settings.
- Select ‘Encrypt Profile’ and Enter Password. Click OK.
- Gladinet Password prompt box appears. Enter the Password you recently made.
- Go to your ‘Z’ drive and click on ‘Windows Live SkyDrive.gvm’.
- Enter your Windows Live login ID & Password. Click ‘Next’.
- Press ‘Finish’ and Gladinet will mount SkyDrive to ‘Z’.
Install required Plug-in for it and get started.
