How to display only today’s tasks in Outlook 2007 To-Do Bar

Outlook to do bar is very useful feature for professional outlook users. Purpose of to do bar in outlook is to display all tasks, make new tasks, manage meetings of days and schedule for meetings. You can be confused from cluttering information on it. So it’s better idea to configure to do bar to show tasks for today only.  These guidelines will show you how to display today’s tasks on outlook 2007 to do bar.

Steps:

  • From to-do bar, make a right click on “Arrange By” and then select “Custom” from menu list. Customize view window will appear.
  • Select “Filter…” option located under “description” heading. Filter popup window will display. Select “Advanced” tab from menu and click on “Field” option button.  Select “Date/Time field” from drop down menu and then click on “Due Date”.
  • From “Condition” option button, select “on or before”. Write “today” in “value” text field and then “Add to List” button to apply all changes. If you want to display only today’s tasks, select “Today” from “Condition” label. You can change condition according to your own choice. Now open to-do bar to check for changes. Here you will see incomplete tasks from yesterday in red color and today’s tasks in normal color.
