How to Pair Bluetooth device with Windows 7?

Bluetooth is an open wireless technology standard for exchanging data over short distances. Various portable devices like Mobile phones, Laptops etc. have built-in Bluetooth device. Windows 7 have the plug-in feature to pair Bluetooth devices. Ensure that your system have two things, 1: Bluetooth Functionality & 2: Compatible USB Bluetooth dongle. Here is the procedure to pair Bluetooth device in Windows 7:

Steps:

  • Go to Start Menu. Type ‘devicepairingwizard’ in search field and press Enter.
  • Turn your device’s Bluetooth ON and makes it ‘Visible to other devices’.
  • ‘Add a device’ window appears. Choose your device and click Next.
  • The system will begin driver installation wizard. A new Bluetooth connection will be
    created.

Bluetooth Troubleshoot Issues:

  • Go to Start Menu. Select Devices and Printers.
  • Select the device you need to troubleshoot. Right click on it. Select Troubleshoot.
  • It will trace the trouble. Click on ‘Apply this Fix’.

The Wizard will trace the problem fix it.
