Microsoft Excel 2010 has a useful feature of Sparklines. It can create Sparklines of data records. You can change its Axis, designs and color as well. Profit and Loss ratio can also be represented by these Sparklines. Here is the Process to create Sparklines in MS Excel 2010:
Steps:
- Open Excel 2010.
- Choose the cell you want to draw Sparkline. Keep in mind that One Row or Column is equal to one Cell for Sparklines.
- Click on ‘Insert’ tab and choose your desired Sparkline style.
- Make selection of your desired Cells that contain data you need to graph Sparklines.
- ‘Create Sparkline’ prompt box will appear. Enter Data range and Location range.
- Press OK.
- Go to ‘Design’ tab now. A number of tools appear to design & customize Sparkline.
- Use ‘Axis’ feature to change the axis of Sparklines.
- Use ‘Marker Color’ option to color different points e.g. High point, Low point etc.
- You can also put Sparkline Profit/Loss display from design options.
