Steps:
- Open “Windows Start Orb”. Write “Regedit” in text field and hit “Enter”.
- Browse Registry Key as given below from “Registry Editor”. “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREPoliciesMicrosoftWindows”.
- Make a right click on empty area. Select “New” from list and then click on “Key”. Make a key with the name “WindowUpdate”. Make another key with the name “AU” and place it in “WindowUpdate” key. You will get new registry path as given below: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREPoliciesMicrosoftWindowsWindowsUpdateAU
- Make a right click on “AU” key and click on “New” and then select “DWORD (32-bit) value” from context menu. Rename it by “NoAutoRebootWithLoggedOnUsers”.
- Right click on newly created “DWORD” and then select “Modify” from menu list. Enter “1” in Value data text field and hit “Ok” button. To apply all changes restart your system. Done!
