Now the expanded view from the Start Menu has really made very easy to access whatever you need instead of opening Control Panel and start searching from other locations. There are certain tips for how you should do it.
Expanded View:

The Windows 7 requires you to right-click on the task bar and then select Properties, in this way the items on the Control Panel will be shown in expanded view.
By clicking the Start Menu Tab you have to click on the customize button. From a drop down list in Control Panel select Display as a Menu and then click OK.
