After releasing Windows 7, Microsoft made announcement of RTM which means it will now introduce Windows 7 gold code for other partners including McAfee, HP, Dell, Sonic, Toshiba and many others.
Beside RTM announcement, Microsoft has declared other Software and download dates. List of dates for different Windows 7 downloads is given below:
Downloads for Standard Consumer:
- New computers and Retail boxes will be available on October 22nd.
Downloads for Partners and OEM’s
- ISV’s will be available to download from MSDN and Microsoft Connect on 6th August.
- Microsoft Action Pack Subscribers will be available to use from 23rd august.
- Release date for OEMs is 24th July.
- Partner Program Gold or Certified members will be available for purchase from 16 august.
Downloads for Business Customers, developers and IT Professionals
- TechNet and MSDN Subscribers will be available from August 6th.
- You can get Volume License Customers Without SA from 1st September and Volume License Customers W/Software Assurance (SA) will be available through MVLS from August 7th.
Wait for Windows 7 downloads till their releasing date. Don’t try to install downloads from torrents because it is illegal method and also contains a lot of viruses.
