User account types
There are three types of user accounts namely Administrator, Standard and Guest. Each account type has different controls on computer.
- Administrator can make any desired setting and has a full control on PC.
- Standard users can use almost all computer capabilities but they are not able to install any app, delete app or change any settings.
- Guest users have temporary access over PC and they could not install or delete any app, create password or make any changes.
Add new user in Windows 7
- Go to control panel and click on “Add or remove user accounts” that is located under “User Accounts and family Safety”.
- Now click on “Create new account” at bottom of window.
- Write user name in text field and choose account type. It is better to select “Standard user” radio button.
- Click on “Create Account” button. Reboot your PC and you will see new user at login screen.
