There are few programs that are listed in start menu by default when you install windows 7 and the most special folder that you see in windows operating system is “All Programs”. This folder points to applications that are already installed on your computer and also the applications that you install by yourself.
Do you wish to add your own folder in “All Programs” and want to put programs or anything else in your own way? Windows 7 allows you to do so and you can create your own folder in start menu. To know how, move ahead!
- Go to Windows 7 start menu orb and right click on “All Programs” folder and select “Open” from context menu.
- It will open in Windows Explorer and here you can see everything that is present in “All Program” folders including folders, subfolders, files and shortcuts. They are displayed under Windows profile and it is not true all time that they also visible under account profiles of other users of this computer.
- To create a folder in All Programs, double click on “Programs” folder.
- Choose “New Folder” button located at the top of same window. Write desired name of folder and press “Enter”. Folder has been created successfully. Now you can add more subfolders or files etc in it. Just double click on it and add what you.
- Once you are done, open start menu and click on “All Programs”. Your new folder will be listed here.
