Adobe has created PDF file format that lets you to exchange the documents. One excellent thing in PDF is that the font themes, size and formatting remains the same if you open it on other system where you have not created it and this is the basic reason of sharing PDF formats documents on internet.
To make PDF file, you need to purchase and then install Acrobat suite. No doubt! Adobe’s Acrobat suite is wonderful in functionality but is also very expensive. Due to this reason, third party tools have been created parallel to Acrobat suite and provide the same functionality. CutePDF is one of them.
Built in tools and virtual printers are available in Linux and MAC OS X that can be used for creating PDF files but unfortunately, they are not packed in Windows operating system.
CutePDF is free version software. Just download and install it into your Windows 7. It requires another tool named ps2pdf that is downloaded automatically from CutePDF website.
Once you install CutePDF tool, it will be listed in printers list with the name “CutePDF Writer”. Now you can use this printer for converting other documents to PDF file format. Now it’s your decision whether you purchase expensive Adobe’s Acrobat suit or use free CutePDF tool.
