How to create a new user account in Windows 7

After Windows 7 release, people started shifting from old OS to Windows 7. But! When you use Windows 7 first time, probably you want to create a new user account but you don’t know how to do so. Similarly if you purchased new computer and want to install Windows 7, the first thing that will come into your mind is to create non administrator accounts.

Below you will see procedure of how to add a new user account in Windows 7. Go ahead!

  • First of all go to User Accounts panel and select the Windows menu.
  • Write “User Account” in search text field and hit “Enter”.
  • Click on “Manage another account” link and then select “Create a new account”.
  • Type username that you want for new account and then choose account type. If you are not experienced user and don’t know what to choose then it is recommended to select radio button “Standard” and move next. The story is not completed here! Now you have to assign password to newly created account.
  • Click on account and then select “Create Password” option. Give strong but easy to remember password. That’s it! Your new account has been created with a password assigned for it.
