- Right click on speaker icon that is located on taskbar and then select “Sounds” from menu.
- Select event from program list to customize sound. Then select wav file that you desire to check for the event. Now click on “test” button. It will show you preview. If you are satisfied then click on “OK” button to save all changes that you have made.
Disable sound of logon screen in Windows 7
- Right click on sound icon and select sound.
- Uncheck the option “Play Windows Startup sound”. If you want to turn it off then select “None” from Sounds list menu. Click “OK” button.
