Windows 7 came with new and amazing features. One interesting feature in it is Aero Shake. You can fetch any window from its title bar and move it back and forth to minimize. It’s new and funny feature that you have not seen in any other operating system but most of the people don’t like this. If you are also one of them then don’t worry at all. Here is solution for this. You can easily disable aero shake from Windows 7. Have a look at below steps to remove this feature from Windows 7.
Steps
- Open Windows start orb. Write “Regedit.exe” in search text field and hit “Enter” from keyboard. Registry Editor Window will open.
- Search for key given below in Registry Editor HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows
- Once you reached there, right click on “Windows” key. Now select “New” from menu and then “Key” from submenu. It will create a new key. Rename it with “Explorer”.
- To create a new 32-bit DWORD, right click on right side panel of windows. Rename with “NoWindowMinimizingShortcuts” and set value to “1”.
- Log off your computer to apply changes and then on it again. Now click on Window, it will not allow you to shake back and forth to minimize it.
