How to grab Hidden Countries Themes in Windows 7

Windows 7 gives you facility to choose aero themes based on location and language that you select while installing Windows 7. You can also access themes from different countries.

When you install Windows 7, it will ask you to choose your desire language to install, currency format and time. From this section of Windows 7 installation, you get themes for your Windows by default. If you choose United States, then it will set themes for your desktop background from the country United States. For instance, it will set scenery from Idaho, Maine, and Oregon etc.

To access themes from other countries, check out the below steps

  • Open windows start orb, write path “C:\Windows\Globalization\MCT” in search field and press “Enter”.
  • MCT folder will open in which you can see hidden themes from South Africa, Canada, Great Britain and Australia.
  • Click on any listed folder to access specific theme from specific location.
  • You can also access it by opening “Theme” folder and then make a double click on the thumbnail in order to add this theme.

Add all themes or the ones that you want to add in your Windows theme. Now you can see all added themes under the heading “My Themes”. Now you can grab both aero themes and themes from other countries that are also present into Windows 7 but are hidden from you.
