Add Home directory on desktop from start menu
- Open Windows start orb. Make a right click on your computer user name that is located at top of start menu.
- Click on “Show on Desktop” option from submenu. That’s it! Home directory icon will appear on your desktop screen.
There is an alternative way to show “Home” directory on your desktop screen. See below steps
- Right click on blank area of Windows 7 desktop and click on “Personalize” from menu.
- Select the desktop icon located at the left pane of window.
Check the box “User’s Files” under “Desktop icons” heading and then click on “OK” button. Done guys!
