If you migrate from any other operating system to Windows 7, then probably you feel hesitation while scanning a picture or document. Well! In this tutorial you will see the procedure step by step. Scanning process for all scanners is same. Have a look on if you got any problem in scanning a document.
- Put you scanning document or picture in scanner, go to start menu and click on “Devices and Printer” from Programs.
- Click on your printer located under “Printers and Faxes” section and printer menu will appear.
- Select “Scan a document or photo” link under Scanner Actions. Scanning window will appear with multiple options on it.
- Choose file type, color format and resolution. You can also increase or decrease brightness and contrast. Click on “Preview” button to see how your image will look after scanning.
- Once you satisfied, click on “Scan” button. Scanning process will start and take some time to complete. The scanning time depends on the type of scanner and setting that you choose for image.
- After completion, you will see a dialog box with option to tag the picture. Tag the picture if you want so and then click on “Import” button. That’s it. Scanned image or document can be open in Windows Photo Viewer.
