Microsoft has introduced Windows phone 7 that is a mobile operating system and is successor of other Windows mobile OS. It has launched in Asian and Europe countries on October 21, 2010 and in united state it launched on November 8, 2010. Basically it aimed at consumer market and not the enterprise market unlike it predecessor platforms.
Microsoft added new beautiful user interface in it and integrated its operating system with other services. Moreover, it plans for controlling the hardware strictly running on it. Few of Windows 7 phone features are listed below:

- Text Input
On screen virtual keyboard is used to write text. It contains dedicated keys to insert emotions. Spell checking and word prediction feature is also added in it. In landscape mode, keys became larger with space between them.
- Messaging
Messages are combined through “Threads” that enables user to get engage to contacts using Facebook chat and live messenger or simple text messages. You can also compose message by voice recognition.
- Contacts
Contacts are arranged through “People hub” and you can enter contacts manually as well as import from Facebook, windows live contacts or Twitter.
- Office Suite
Office apps and documents are fully organized by “Office Hub”. You can view and edit all files directly from your Windows 7 phone.
