Windows 7 is the latest Microsoft release that came with wonderful features. It has added many unique new features and also improved old features.
Microsoft has improved Taskbar that you see at the bottom of desktop screen in every window. Basic purpose of change in Taskbar is to view and fetch files and windows easier.
Taskbar view
- If you open various windows that cannot adjust on taskbar, they will be stacked.
- Aero Peak is the wonderful feature in Windows 7 that show preview of windows by placing mouse over the icon in taskbar.
- You can also change the order of icons on taskbar by dragging the icon to place where you want.
Pin program to taskbar
Pinning a program to taskbar is quick way to access it. Make a single click on program icon and it will be opened.
- Drag program and drop over taskbar. It will be pinned on it.
- To unpin the program, right click on it and then select “Unpin this program from taskbar”.
How to fetch a jump list
Jump list behaves just like a mini menu for any program. It lets you to quickly fetch the recent files, tasks, frequent view items and much more. Just right click on any icon and jump list of program will appear.
