What is Windows Explorer Pane?

If you know how to deal with Windows Explorer, then it is quite easy to move to different contents and work with files and folders. It helps you to view, search, manage and organize your important files and folders. Here you will see how to work with Windows Explorer pane.

To open Windows Explorer pane, click on its icon located at Windows 7 taskbar. In left panel, you will see different libraries that are already present in your computer. You can navigate to your content by selecting the folders. You can also browse content by clicking on headings that are located in Windows pane address bar. Below address bar you will see various options that you can use. To take preview of files, click on “Show the Preview pane” button.

Change content view in your folders

Windows Explorer pane gives you different options to view your content in folders. You can see the details of documents you can make the icon size extra large and much more. To change content view, click on “View” button. Choose your preference from popup menu.

Change arrangement of your content in folders

Windows Explorer pane allows you to arrange the contents according to days, month, and rating etc by depending on the Library.

To change content arrangement, click on “Arrange by” button. It will open popup menu. Select your desired preference from list and it will be applied on your content.
