How to Configure System Restore to free Drive Space in Windows 7

System restore is an excellent feature in Windows 7. When you computer stops working and everything goes stuck then System restore will help you to get rid of this jam. To free drive space in Windows 7, you have option to restore you system and make configuration in it.

Open Windows start orb, right click on “Computer” and the select “Properties” from menu. System panel will open.

Select the “System Protection” option located at left panel of Window. “System Properties” window will appear.

Configure screen for selected drive should be open.  Here you can delete all restore points that are latest, turn off the entire system protection, or set “Max Usage” slider to occupy less or more space. Set slider to lesser amount of space, make other changes as you need and click on “OK” button to apply all changes.

Select “Protection” tab. Then select drive that you want to pull in the list. Click on •

system files” button to open it in administrator mode.Select “More Options” tab. Click on “Clean Up” button. That’s it. “Configure”
