How to read hard text easily with Windows 7 Magnifier

Sometimes there is very small size text on computer screen that you find very difficulty in reading. Might possible your eye sight is weak and you could not read the print. Magnifier feature is added in Windows 7 to resolve your problem. It allows you to read those contents very easily.

Magnifier is not a new thing. You will also find it in old Windows version but Windows 7 improves it more. Now Magnifier has three screens: Full screen, Lens mode and Docked mode. Windows Aero should be enabled for Full screen or Lens mode otherwise magnifier will perform function in Docked mode.

Following points will show you how to use Magnifier of Windows 7.

  • Go to start menu, type “magnifier” and hit “Enter” from keyboard.
  • Select “View” located at toolbar and choose desired mode from drop down menu.
  • To change zoom in or zoom out, go to Magnifier options and adjust the slider bar. There are other options too that you can check according to your need. Click “OK” to apply changes.
  • If you use full screen mode, your entire screen will be magnified. If you choose Docked mode, only single section will magnify and docked on top portion of screen while the other data will show in normal state. Lens mode is same as moving magnifying glass on screen.
