Windows media player in Windows 7 is different from Windows XP media player. When you move from XP to Windows 7, you may find problems in managing your favorite music in WMP. Well! This tutorial is all about how to setup and play music in WMP on Windows 7. Move ahead!
- Go to Windows media player, choose “recommended settings” radio button when you open it first time and click “Finish”. Custom option is for experienced users. But it is better to choose recommended option so you can also do changes later on.
- Player will open up with some music sample selections. To open CD, insert it into drive. WMP will automatically fetch the data and present whatever song is present in CD. Playback and volume can be customized with control buttons.
- To see album or song that is playing currently, click on bottom right icon.
- If you are in now playing mode, you can rip the CD into your WMP library by just clicking on CD symbol located on to right side. One good thing is that you can continue listen CD data on WMP during ripping process. When it completes, album will be listed in library.
- To burn CD, select “Burn” tab and drag songs in CD that you desire. Enjoy!
